Lucasfilm announced that the second season of the Star Wars Visions anime will be broadcast on Disney Plus on May 4, 2023 (May 14, 1402), which coincides with Star Wars Day. Like the first season, the second season of the Star Wars Visions anime has been produced in 9 episodes by different anime and animation studios, and in the second season we also see western studios. 
Cartoon Salon animation studio, producer of Wolfwalkers animation and Aardman animation studio with a history of making Chicken Run animation are among the most important western studios producing episodes of the second season of the Star Wars Visions anime, which in fact only one episode of the second season was produced by Japanese studios.
