AMD In addition to the unveiling of Radeon RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX flagship graphics cards, it officially launched the next generation of its Super Resolution FiedlityFX technology with the name FSR 3 introduced that it comes with Fluid Motion Frame Tech.
FSR 3 combines the best technology with super temporal resolution and the new Fluid Motion Frame technology that increases the frame rate (FPS) in games. According to reports, this technology is going to be released in various games and applications in 2023.
Increasing the frame rate of games with FSR 3

In terms of performance, AMD’s FSR 3 technology offers up to two times the performance increase over FSR 2 at 4K resolution. AMD demonstrated this technology by running a demo powered by Unreal Engine 5, where the FPS went from 60 fps (FSR 2) to 112 fps (FSR 3). In addition, AMD showed a demo of a short film called Beckoning, made by Sava Zivkovic and his team over four months using FSR 3.
There’s currently no information on the modes and how the Fluid Motion Frame technology will work, but the company is expected to reveal more details about it in the coming weeks.

AMD also announced that FSR 2.2 technology will be available for 216 games and will feature improvements that improve visual quality. The first title that will use this technology is the racing game Forza Horizon 5, which will be available on November 8, 2022. The technology will also soon be available to game developers via GPUOpen.com.
Radeon RX 7900 XTX and Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards will be the first products to support FSR 3. These cards will be released a little earlier in December for $999 and $899.
