Creative Assembly has announced the release date of the free Mirror of Madness expansion pack for Total War: Warhammer 3.
Recently, Creative Assembly Studio has announced the release date of the new expansion pack of Total War: Warhammer 3, which is going to be released along with the main update of version 3.0. According to the announcement, the free Mirror of Madness DLC will be available to players on April 24 (April 13) this year alongside the paid Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs expansion pack and update 3.0.
The Mirror of Madness expansion pack will consist of two new game modes, The Trials of Fate and The Infinite Portal. Creative Assembly has released the details of Mirror of Madness as part of the FAQ on the Total War: Warhammer 3 update page.
Trials of Fate mode is a series of survival-oriented challenges. This mode puts players in the role of a demon prince from the realm of Tzeentch who has just risen and must participate in the infamous battles of Warhammer history; To finally enter the realm of Tzeentch and fight against Kairos Fateweaver. It seems that the gameplay of this mode is developed based on Horde Mode, in which players must resist endless waves of different enemies and gradually increase their power. To counter these factions, players will have access to a variety of unique Trials of Fate spells and abilities, which they can upgrade by defending a point called the Shard.
The Infinite Portal mode allows players to customize their troops in a variety of ways, such as increasing the damage done by combat units and spells, increasing the total number of soldiers per unit, and increasing the health bar. In fact, The Infinite Portal is a fun game mode where players can change the mechanics of the game as much as they want.
