Bing Chat supports third-party plugins

Microsoft yesterday New Bing provided to all users along with advanced features. Now the Redmond giant has confirmed that Bing Chat from Third-party plugins It supports that despite that, the capabilities of Bing chatbot will increase significantly.

However, developers can create new plugins for BingChat, and Microsoft, in collaboration with OpenAI, plans to provide users with an easy and consistent process for creating BingChat and ChatGPT plugins. Also, Microsoft mentioned OpenTable and Wolfram|Alpha as the first active plugins in BingChat, which were already available on the GPT-4 model.

Microsoft Statement About Bing Chat Third-Party Plugins

Microsoft plans to share more information about the Bing Chat platform with developers at the Build 2023 conference, which will be held from June 2 to 4. Youssef Mehdi, Microsoft’s senior manager, says in the company’s new blog post:

“We will soon be adding third-party plugins to BingJet, which will provide a platform for developers. For example, if you are looking for the latest restaurant for dinner on BingChat, you can use the OpenTable plugin to search and make reservations. “Or through Wolfram|Alpha, you can create impactful visualizations and answer complex science, math, and personal data-driven questions directly from BingChat.”

Since the launch of BingChat in February this year, Microsoft has taken significant steps to develop it. As of yesterday, Bing Chat is no longer available as a preview version, which means that all users can use Bing Chat without being on a waiting list after signing in to a Microsoft account.

The move is undoubtedly a big milestone for Microsoft and will give more people a chance to try out Bing’s AI.
