The directors of the Resident Evil 4 remake have confirmed that the game will include New Game Plus and Photo Mode at launch.
The remake of Resident Evil 4 will be released by Capcom in a little more than a month, and for this reason, the Japanese publisher regularly provides new details about this highly anticipated remake. So far, the developers of the Resident Evil 4 remake have announced various details on how to implement the changes, new content, and improvements. Kazunori Kadui and Yasuhiro Ampou, the directors of this remake, released new information in their interview with Game Informer.
With the approval of these two game makers, Resident Evil 4 remake will include New Game Plus and Photo Mode from the first day of release. Also, the creators have provided several different designs of the controller keys to the players so that they can choose one of the options, like the remake of the second and third versions of Resident Evil. “You can choose from multiple controller designs that are similar to previous remakes,” Ampu explained.
In response to a question about the placement of a control scheme similar to the original version of Resident Evil 4, this director said: “You can change the layout of the keys to a scheme similar to the original version, but it will not be 100% the same.”
Meanwhile, Ampu confirmed that the village section of the remake will be bigger compared to the original, and players will be able to explore it. Also, the creators of the remake of Resident Evil 4 have decided to completely rebuild the stages of the island section, which according to the directors, will not be bigger than the original version.
Resident Evil 4 remake on April 4, 1402 (March 24, 2023) on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X platforms | Xbox Series S will be released.
