How to use one WhatsApp account on two or more smartphones
To use a WhatsApp account on multiple smartphones, the operating system of these devices does not matter. iPhone or Android, both of them provide you with independent use of WhatsApp. Just be aware that if the main device remains inactive for too long, the devices connected to it will automatically be logged out.
Follow the steps below to use one WhatsApp account on multiple mobile phones:
- Download and run WhatsApp on the second phone.
- Instead of entering your WhatsApp account phone number, tap on the Link to existing account option to generate a QR code.

- On your primary device, go to Settings and then Linked Devices.

- Click the Link a device option and then scan the QR code with the camera of the second phone.
After scanning the QR code, the data synchronization is complete and you will see the chats appear on the second device. These phones work independently, so there is no need for the main device to remain connected to the Internet. So with just a few simple steps above, you can use one WhatsApp account on two or more smartphones with different operating systems.
