iPhone 16 Pro models arrive with a larger screen and a periscope camera

Apple hasn’t changed the screen size of iPhones since the introduction of the iPhone 12 in 2020, but it looks like that will change next year. A new rumor says that Apple will increase the screen size of iPhone 16 Pro models.

While Apple has not yet announced the iPhone 15 series, we are seeing rumors about its next generation. According to a new rumor, the iPhone 16 Pro with the internal model number D93 will be equipped with a 6.3-inch screen, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the internal model number D94 will be equipped with a 6.9-inch screen.

Apple may change the design of iPhone 16 Pro models

Currently, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are equipped with 6.1 and 6.7-inch displays, respectively, so their size will increase by 0.2 inches in 2024. This size change could mean a new design, although it’s also possible that Apple will reduce the bezels around the display, a move we’re likely to see with the iPhone 15 Pro models as well.

This is not the first time we have seen rumors about the increase in screen size of future iPhones. In the past, one of the sources of the technology world named “Ross Young” had raised this issue, however, according to Young, we will face 6.2 and 6.8 inch screens.

Today’s report also says that Apple uses a periscopic camera in the iPhone 16 Pro models; This feature is only used in iPhone 15 Pro Max this year. The periscope camera provides users with a 5-6x optical zoom, which is a significant improvement over the 3x optical zoom of the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

Considering the long distance until the introduction of the iPhone 16 series, we have to wait for the release of new reports and rumors about them.
