With the 95th Academy Awards ceremony, it was determined which films and filmmakers the Academy of Cinema Arts and Sciences considers worthy of the award.
Finally, the time has come for the 2023 Oscar ceremony to determine and introduce the best of 2022. At the 95th Academy Awards, the movie All Quiet on the Western Front, the movie Avatar: The Way of Water, the movie The Banshees of Inisherin, the movie Elvis, the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once, the movie The Fabelmans, the movie Tar, the movie Top Gun : Maverick, Triangle of Sadness and Women Talking are competing for Best Picture of the Year.
The 2023 Oscars will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, which is his third time hosting the ceremony. Kimmel previously hosted the 89th and 90th Academy Awards. Also, the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once is the leader of this year’s awards with 11 nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Actor and Supporting Actor. All Quiet on the Western Front and The Banshees of Inisherin are both next with nine nominations.
