According to the synopsis of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of hiding from the human world, the Turtle brothers decided to win the hearts of the people of New York by doing superhero deeds and being accepted as normal teenagers. Their new friend April O’Neill is supposed to help them fight a notorious crime syndicate, but they soon encounter an army of mutant enemies.
