The world’s tallest woman was able to travel by plane for the first time, as Turkish Airlines removed six of her seats to make room for the 2.15cm tall woman.
Romisa Gelgi (Rumeysa Gelgi) with a height of 215.16 cm was officially announced by Guinness World Records as the tallest living woman in the world earlier this year. He generally moves with a wheelchair or with the help of a walker, and his height is the result of a disease called Weaver syndrome (Weaver syndrome) which, among other things, causes rapid growth.
Golgi, 24, had never traveled by plane before because even as a child he couldn’t fit in regular airline seats, but now he can travel abroad. He flew to San Francisco in September courtesy of his country’s national airline. The flight crew removed six seats and replaced them with a special stretcher so that he could have a comfortable flight.
“A trip that was flawless from start to finish,” he wrote in a post on his Instagram. This was my first trip by plane, but it certainly won’t be my last. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every person who was a part of this journey.”
This 24-year-old girl traveled to San Francisco to develop her career in software development, but she will also work with Guinness World Records to promote various events.
Golgi, who was recognized by this organization as the world’s tallest living woman last month after receiving the Guinness World Record certificate, said: “Every weakness can be turned into an advantage, so accept yourself as you are, be aware of your potential. And do your best.”
This is the second time that Ms. Golgi has set a world record. In 2014, he was also named the world’s tallest living teenager and has since used his social media platform to support people with rare conditions.

Golgi also holds the record for the longest finger by a woman and the largest hand by a living woman.
