Timelapse feature in Google Earth (Google Earth) which can be used to change of land Seen through time, now with new images from the years 2021 And 2022 It has been updated.
In the new Google Earth Timelapse update, the tech giant has added data from 2020 to 2022 to the Timelapse feature, and users can see how the Earth has changed over the past years (from 1984 to 2022), including the impact of climate change, urbanization, and natural disasters.

The video above shows the changes of a settlement in Egypt named Al Wahat Ad Dakhlah from 1984 to 2022. The video below is another example from the city of Pocaipa, Peru, where Google Earth shows how the meandering river of the Amazon rainforest interacts with local cities.
The interesting video below also shows the Lassen National Forest in California, which over time, fires, volcanic eruptions and logging have changed its landscape.
Google explains in its blog post that Timelapse offers a zoomable global time-lapse video of the planet that shows dynamic Earth changes, such as those caused by deforestation and forest fires. Google Earth images also show what cities are doing to combat climate change, such as the construction of the Middelgrunden offshore wind farm in Denmark and the massive solar installation in Granada, Spain.
According to Google, the Timelapse feature was created to “increase public awareness of the impact of climate change, urbanization and deforestation.” The tech giant has partnered with several organizations to develop it, including NASA, the US Geological Survey’s Landsat program, and the European Space Agency’s Sentinel satellites.
