Although the devices in the series include a very bright QD-OLED TV, the Japanese giant has generally offered very few improvements to its devices. 2023 Sony Bravia XR TVs
The initial version of this series is called X90L, and Sony has switched from plastic frame to aluminum cover to make it. Depending on the device size, the X90L offers users up to 60% more local dimming and 30% more brightness compared to its predecessor. Also, the 98-inch model of this device has the largest screen among new Sony TVs.
A80L OLED is another TV in this series that Sony has decided to release now in 83-inch size. The new version comes with minor improvements, and Sony claims that thanks to improved speakers, you can expect 10% brighter performance and slightly better dialogue clarity.
Perhaps the most impressive Sony TV this year is the QD-OLED A95L, which will be available in 77-inch, 65-inch, and 55-inch sizes. However, this device will use Samsung’s second-generation QD-OLED display panel, which offers up to 200% better peak brightness compared to the previous model (A95K).
The price and release time of any of these devices have not been announced yet.
New software features of Sony TVs
Sony has also unveiled a software feature called Eco Dashboard, which encourages customers to be more environmentally friendly by showing them settings that draw more energy.
In addition, just like Samsung, LG, Hisense and other companies, Sony now presents its customers with a settings menu tailored to games. Through this section, users can change things like VRR, motion blur reduction, and black/contrast equalizer settings. There will also be an option to adjust the screen size.
