Along with the release of Halo Infinite’s winter update, 343 Industries appreciated the patience of fans.
Recently, Alex Wakeford, the director of the 343 Industries community, announced on the occasion of the release of the Halo Infinite winter update that the developer team hopes to start a completely new and brighter era for the game and developers. In Halo Infinite’s winter update, some long-awaited features such as the co-op campaign experience, the start of the Forge mode beta, and Mission Replay became available. The release of this content was delayed several times in the past, and now Studio 343 Industries has thanked fans for their patience in a statement:
“For now, the last thing we want to say is thank you for your support over the past year. We know that we definitely haven’t had a smooth and fast ride, but with the release of the winter update we have an opportunity to thank the commitment and feedback of the audience community. As the North Star, they guide us to expand the Halo Infinite gaming experience. The Winter Update is a big step forward for the game and our studio, but it’s only the first step in this evolution.
The team is actively working on key player experience priorities throughout the game to address the feedback raised. We are aiming to release another update before the end of this year. Your support is greatly appreciated and we can’t wait to share this experience with you all in 2023; Because we’re looking to deliver shorter seasons, a more regular flow of content, and bigger things in the future.”
The third season of Halo Infinite, called Echoes Within, is scheduled to begin in March 2023 and continue until June. Back in September, Certain Affinity announced that it was handling a major new project for the Halo franchise. Also, Microsoft changed its management team in September after Bonnie Ross, head of Studio 343 Industries, stepped down after 15 years.
