Neil Druckman, CEO of Naughty Dog, announced in his recent statements that the number of employees of this studio has now reached more than 400 people and this studio is working on several projects.
In his recent interview, Neil Druckman, the CEO of Naughty Dog Studio, has announced several new projects that are being developed by members of this team. Of course, for some time, there have been news about the simultaneous development of several games in the studio that created The Last of Us games. Druckman also pointed to the growth of the number of developers in this team over the past two years and confirmed that now more than 400 people are working in the company from 300 people 2 years ago.
In this interview, Druckman mentioned the Uncharted games and announced that the team has abandoned this series for the time being. This is while Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End which ended the story of Nathan Drake, is considered one of the best-selling Naughty Dog games during their career.
The CEO of Naughty Dog further mentioned that the team has no problem with abandoning The Last of Us series. But he will do it only when he feels that there is no more new story to tell in the world of this game. However, it was previously claimed that The Last of Us Part 3 is in the works.
Naughty Dog is currently working on a standalone multiplayer project for The Last of Us, which has no set release date yet. The studio previously announced this game as its most ambitious project.
