If we say that the game Hogwarts Legacy has managed to be called one of the biggest games of 2023 to date, it is not surprising. This action and role-playing game, which was developed by Avalanche Software Studio, was able to reach a record sales of 12 million copies worldwide within two weeks of its release. Following on from this success and massive player response, Warner Bros. confirmed that sales of Hogwarts Legacy far exceeded internal projections. Now, it looks like Avalanche Software has started development on its next AAA game, and players are eagerly waiting for more details about it.

Recently, GameRent reported that Avalanche Software has posted a new job ad on the Warner Bros. website. Discover has posted to hire a Software Engineer. In the description of the job posting, it is confirmed that the creator of Hogwarts Legacy is currently working on the development of an unannounced AAA project. Although Avalanche Software edited the text of this ad after a short period of time, the images taken from it were spread on social media.

The game Hogwarts Legacy was released about three months ago, and the start of the sequel will be a bit far from expected. On the other hand, considering the wide success and great sales of this product, the possibility of persuading the Warner Brothers company to make a sequel as soon as possible seems logical. However, fans of Hogwarts Legacy are hoping that Avalanche Software has plans to support the game with expansion packs in the future. Currently, the developer and Warner Bros. have not made any official announcements regarding the release of DLC for Hogwarts Legacy.

Hogwarts Legacy is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X Xbox Series S is available. The eighth generation version of this work will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players from today, and Nintendo Switch players will have to wait until August 3 (July 25) this year.
