Marvel Studios is making a series based on the character of Wonder Man and now according to the latest Cinema and TV newsThe presence of a new director in this series has been determined. Deadline reported that Stella Magee, director of The Photograph, The Weekend, Everything, Everything, and Jean of the Joneses, has been attached to direct several episodes of Wonder Man.
Andrew Guestthe writer and producer of the series Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the series Community as the leader of the writers team is present in the series Wonder Man and Dustin Daniel Kertonthe director of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will serve as an executive producer on the series, and he is also set to direct one or more episodes of Wonder Man.
Yahya Abdulmatin II who won an Emmy Award for his role in the series Watchmen, is set to play the role of Simon Williams aka Wonder Man in the series Wonder Man. Furthermore, Ben Kingsleythe actor who played Trevor Slattery will return in the Wonder Man series. The Wonder Man series is under development based on Marvel Studios’ multi-party deal with Kerton following the success of Shang-Chi, and Shang-Chi 2 will be a part of this deal. The Wonder Man series, however, is likely to go in front of the camera in 2023.
The character of Wonder Man is one of the old Marvel characters that was first introduced in 1964 in #9 of the Avengers comic. He initially appeared as a villain and made brief appearances in various works, but by the late 1970s the character was introduced as a superhero and a member of the Avenger. Finally, in the 80s, this character was able to find a place and Simon Williams was chosen as his name. He was a member of the Coast Avengers in Los Angeles, wearing a black and red outfit with red glasses.
