Konami has recently hired and introduced the first actors of Return to Silent Hill to play the main roles.
It was October this year Konami officially confirmed and announced the production of a new film based on the Silent Hill game series called Return to Silent Hill, and now in the latest Cinema and TV newsThe first actors of the new Silent Hill movie have been revealed. Jeremy Irwin, who has played in War Horse and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, along with Hannah Emily Anderson, who has a history of acting in Dark Phoenix and Jigsaw, are two actors who have signed a contract to play in Return to Silent Hill.
Deadline reported that the filming and production of the new Silent Hill movie will begin in April 2023 (April 1402) and the filming of this movie will be done in Germany and Eastern Europe. Christopher Gans, the director of the 2006 film Silent Hill, is directing Return to Silent Hill. Also, Gans has been responsible for writing the screenplay for the new Silent Hill movie along with Sandra Wu-en, who has a history of cooperation in writing the screenplay for Beauty and the Beast and William Joseph Schneider.
This horror movie is going to be produced and released based on the Silent Hill 2 game, and Return to Silent Hill is also known as the direct sequel to the first Silent Hill movie. Return to Silent Hill follows the story of James, who has become a broken man after breaking up with the love of his life. When he receives a mysterious letter from Silent Hill to search for him in this town, he soon realizes that the town has been possessed by an unknown demon and has completely changed.
As James descends into the depths of darkness, he encounters both familiar and new frightening faces and begins to question his own sanity as he struggles to understand reality in order to save his lost love. The film Silent Hill, which was released in 2006, managed to sell more than 100 million dollars at the box office. In the continuation of the movie Silent Hill: Revelation, directed by M. J. Bassett, the sequel to Silent Hill, was released in 2012 and grossed only $56 million.
