Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets almost a year ago, but we have yet to meet their new generation. However, now we see the release of the first renders of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, which announce changes compared to the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus.
Renders and possible specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus
These CAD-based renderings show Samsung’s upcoming tablet from different angles. It seems that this tablet is only an improved version compared to its previous generation and we will not face significant changes in it.

Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is likely to be equipped with a 12.4-inch display with a resolution of 1752 x 2800 pixels and a fingerprint sensor below it, quad speakers and dual main cameras. Like its previous generation, this tablet supports the S-Pen and on its back panel, a special magnetic area can be seen to hold the pen.
One of the differences between this tablet and its previous generation is the design of the main camera. The main camera of this tablet has the same design as the Galaxy S23 series, and the sensors are placed separately and without modules on the back panel.
Like Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, this tablet supports 45W wired charging speed through USB-C 3.2 port. Another possible change of this tablet is the use of a dual selfie camera; Can’t be too sure about that though.

While the specifications of this tablet have not been revealed in detail, it is expected that we will face a newer chip than the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus. Considering that the previous Samsung tablet was equipped with the Snapdragon 8 generation 1 chip, the new generation is likely to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 generation 2.
According to some rumors, the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets, including the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, support the IP67 standard for resistance to water and dust penetration.
