A screenshot of Tekken 8 has been leaked thanks to this year’s PlayX4 event, showing the fighter selection screen.
It seems that we are still far away from the Tekken 8 release date, and Bandai Namco plans to release the game before April 2024. Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada has shared various details with fans, including cross-platform playability and beta testing, and now it seems that an image of Tekken 8 has been leaked in an unofficial way.
Recently, a Reddit user revealed an image of the Tekken 8 fighter selection screen from the recent PlayX4 event in South Korea. The creators of Tekken 8 recently confirmed the presence of Hwarang by broadcasting a trailer, and before that Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith and Lily were introduced; However, they are not present in the leaked image and therefore it can be concluded that this fighter selection screen is related to one of the more basic builds of the game.
If this leaked image ends up showing up in the main game, there’s plenty of room for Tekken 8 characters. Considering that the previous version of the series added a lot of fighters in addition to the characters that were in the game from the beginning, we can expect a lot of characters in Tekken 8. Bandai Namco has not yet spoken about the post-launch content of the game, and we are expected to learn more once the final release date is confirmed. Tekken 8 fighting game for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X platforms The Xbox Series S is in development.
