It was published and now Warner Bros. has confirmed that this adaptation series is in the works with JK Rowling, the creator of Harry Potter. David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery, said after announcing the news: “My wife and I read the Harry Potter books to each of our three children; “It’s really impressive that in 10 years people will be able to watch Harry Potter on HBO.”
Since Warner’s founding of the StreamMax service, there has always been an intention to use the franchise of Warner’s largest collection to broadcast on the network. Max Service will produce this series in collaboration with Bronte Film, Warner Brothers, JK Rowling, Neil Blair, Ruth Kennelly-Letts. Also, negotiations are underway with David Heyman to work as an executive producer on the Harry Potter series.
