CD Projekt Red announced at the GDC 2023 event that the RTX Path Tracing Overdrive Mode Play Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 11, 2023.
The Cyberpunk 2077 game will soon be equipped with the latest technology for graphics enhancement of Nvidia games called RTX Path Tracing. In addition, Shader Execution Reordering will also be available for this game. This feature is available for Ada Lovelace GPUs and optimizes GPU workloads. As a result, it will bring better results in path tracing mode.
In addition to the new SER and RTX Path Tracing features, Cyberpunk 2077 also supports DLSS 3. Unfortunately, Nvidia and CDPR have not yet provided new images and videos of the gameplay and performance of the aforementioned features, but we expect to see more results from the green team’s new achievement in the meantime. The company recently SDK or software development kit made Path Tracing available to developers to begin changing this situation.
This method is far more advanced than methods such as ray tracing, in which an algorithm must calculate the different paths of light rays and create a complete scene. After that, the average is taken from these multiple paths, and after coloring, in addition to adjusting the amount of brightness and the way the light shines, the pixels are precisely calculated and created.
